# Synchronize Times

Exchange trading APIs rely on accurate timestamps between the end user and the exchange in order to execute trades. If the clocks are not both correct / accurate, the exchange will reject the order and the timestamp error will be displayed.

Install a NTP (Network Time Protocol) app on your VPS / Desktop / Notebook to regularly ensure your time is synchronised: [https://www.timesynctool.com](https://www.timesynctool.com/)​
